Job Title: IT Communications Specialist

The Communication Specialist is responsible for the coordination and execution of communications related to new and existing IT products. This role assists the IT department in ensuring communications, work product and critical functions meet the Firm’s high standard of excellence.
Work closely with the Director of Global IT Operations, and the IT team to execute proactive technical communication, supporting the Firm’s practice groups, attorneys, and administrative employees
Working under the direction of the Director, assist in proactively generating and firm-wide communication to build and reinforce Firm technology
Manage, draft and provide ongoing support for all direct IT communications (e.g., Firm technology announcements, newsletters, etc.)
Provide guidance and expertise on strategic direction and development of technical communication materials
Maintain intranet content such as Tech Tips & Tricks Library
Serve as a resource regarding Firm technology
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly competitive and demanding environment
Strong attention to detail and self-motivated to produce accurate, timely and complete work product
Excellent research and analytical abilities
Strong project management skills, initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Ability to quickly develop organizational astuteness and understand the Firm’s culture, vision, policies and practices
Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours as needed
Bachelor's degree is required; Major in Business, English, Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field preferred
