Description/Job Summary

The HR Application Specialist will work closely with IT Leaders, Finance and Payroll Leaders, and Senior HR personnel on all technical aspects in support of the Firm’s Workday implementation. The right candidate will support the implementation of Workday and it’s integration with other mainstream applications such as ADP Payroll, Active Directory, and other related business systems. A solid working knowledge of the Workday Integration tools including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, and Workday APIs is fundamental.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Design, develop, monitor and support Workday integrations with external benefit providers.
  • Support and maintain Workday integrations with ADP Payroll.
  • Serve as named technical contact for Workday and be the point of contact between users and Workday support
  • Oversee the quality assurance testing process throughout the semi-annual upgrade cycles.
  • Work closely with key HR resources on building Workday business processes.
  • Support and troubleshoot user access issues.
  • Work closely with the IT Security team to maintain single sign-on access to Workday.
  • Work closely with IT with integrating Workday and Active Directory.
  • Build user provisioning workflows with Workday that integrate with other downstream systems

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining HR Solutions, integrations, custom reporting.
  • 3+ Years Workday experience
  • Experience with UltiPro / Oracle / SAP a plus
  • Hands on experience with requirements gathering and solution design. Past experience in configurations, testing, post-production support and documentation is a must.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Must be business & technology savvy
  • Law firm experience desirable
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to define solutions to support and improve those processe

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • PMP, Agile or Scrum certification a plus
