Description/Job Summary

The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting learning solutions for the professional staff population, and driving learning experiences across the curriculum. This individual will report to and work closely with the Director of Learning & Development to execute the L&D  agenda; including onboarding, training, manager effectiveness, leadership development, employee engagement, and coaching.   

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Design and develop high quality technical and leadership development programs, tools, and resources
  • Curate learning content, creating tailored learning experiences contextualized for various learning audiences
  • Project manage end-to-end learning experiences and solutions (from design to delivery)
  • Facilitate learning solutions for the development of professional staff, conduct andanalyze program evaluations
  • Implement learning experiences, including but not limited to scheduling, registration, set-up, monitoring, communications, and reporting
  • Identify opportunities for use of new technology and efficient/high impact blended learning
  • Support and liaise with vendors for program execution
  • Work on firm-wide HR initiatives as required

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of learning and development experience in a professional services firm or comparable environment
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory and/or instructional design, including instructional design tools and technology desired
  • Knowledge of learning management systems, experience with learning management systems desired
  • Working knowledge of project management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Facilitation skills desired
  • Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Training/Development, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent years of experience required
