The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Business Development team by providing event planning, administrative, production and graphics skills. This role supports the marketing operational functions of the department, ensuring that the Firm’s high standard of excellence is met.
Responsibilities/Duties
Work closely with Partners and members of the Business Development team to conceptualize and source ideas and venues for client events
Identify and negotiate with appropriate venues and vendors regarding all aspects of events, including budgets, timelines, etc
Work with Graphic Designers and Marketing Technology team to create and send save the date notifications and invitations
Work with members of the Business Development team and other internal Firm departments to organize all program materials and logistics for events, including nametags, handouts, signage, promotional items, catering, AV set-up, booking of appropriate rooms/layout, etc
Organize events in conjunction with sponsorships and outside organizations
Provide post-event analysis and reporting
Create, revise and proofread communications, presentations, and other marketing materials as needed; ensure correspondence and documents are compliant with the Firm’s format and policies
Assist with coordination and production of promotional materials for pitches and events
Assist with updates to attorney biographies across multiple channels
Work on and manage production of graphics requests such as newsletters, ads and invitations, in conjunction with the Graphic Designers and outside vendors where appropriate
Assist with distribution of varied marketing materials
Manage inventory of promotional items/swag and other marketing related items (brochures, etc.) which includes organization and distribution of items as requested by attorneys; this aspect of role can be sometimes physical in nature
Coordinate attorney/administration photo shoots, including all logistics
Assist in managing data for the Firm’s marketing technology platforms and contact databases
Support BD projects and other Firm initiatives as needed
Perform additional duties as needed
Required Skills
Excellent written and oral communications and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Suite
Strong learning aptitude, attention to detail and self-motivated to produce accurate, timely and complete work product
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment
Ability to anticipate requests for information essential to meet the needs appropriate to their role
Must have a positive can-do attitude and professional demeanor, and demonstrate a team-player behavior

Required Experience
1-2 years’ experience working in a high-paced, deadline-driven, professional-services environment
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in a law firm, marketing or professional services field preferred
Experience updating a website preferred
Events experience preferred
Demonstrated experience using a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Education
Major in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
