Description/Job Summary

The Firm’s Intern Program is responsible for offering college students a comprehensive experience by providing exposure to various fields and diversified duties within a professional environment. The Intern typically works within an assigned department to assist management and staff in related functions that provide development of business skills and offer real-world work experience.

The Legal Recruiting Intern will assist with the coordination of in-person summer associate program working with DC recruiting team, attorneys and recruits; create and send invitations and event reminders; assist with varied aspects of the summer associate program and concurrent interviewing of law students for Summer 2023, including assisting with meetings & presentations, data entry, clerical aspects of summer assignment data-basing & review/offer process.


  • Assist in the coordination of in-person summer associate program
  • Assist with various aspects of the summer associate program and interviewing of law studentes
  • Assist with the preparation/distribution of marketing or interviewing materials
  • Perform filing and data entry
  • Generate reports
  • Research and compile data
  • Assist with special projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Abiility to quickly become proficient with new computer programs 
  • Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Responsive and client-service oriented
  • Personable and outgoing demeanor
  • Can organize, prioritize, plan and multi-task work activities in a high pressure environment

Preferred Skills

  • Some prior office experience preferred

  • Prior experience in a law firm, college administrative office or HR a plus

  • Interest in legal field a plus
