The IT Accounting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administrative and accounting needs of the Information Technology department, specifically providing senior level support to the CIO and Director, Global IT Operations.
Handle all administrative details for the IT department and provide administrative support to the CIO and senior management
Screen internal and external correspondence, emails, memos and reports and assess significance ensuring timely distribution
Coordinate use of vendors, monitor invoices, purchase orders and payments, verify supporting documentation, conduct monthly and yearly analysis of vendor payment trends,
Ensure appropriate authorizations received for expenditures, identify cost effective alternatives, research proposals and secure approvals for vendor agreements
Develop detailed reports of accounts payable and vendor payment related information as part of the Information Technology budget creation process
Process purchase orders through the creation, submission, approval and equipment delivery steps
Monitor department expenses and payment of invoices and work with Accounting to ensure coding and payment follow Firm policies and guidelines; conduct general ledger analysis
