Job Title: Legal Training Coordinator

The Legal Training Coordinator is responsible for working with the Director of Legal Training and Development, and Manager of Legal Practice Training, in support of the Firm’s Attorney Training programs and key initiatives, including delivery or support of firm-wide, practice-specific and client CLE programs.
Work collaboratively to coordinate and implement training programs, including delivery of firm-wide, practice-specific and client CLE programs
Serve as point of contact for internal presenters and outside consultants and vendors
Manage program scheduling, registration, and logistics including conference facilities, food service, and technology
Assemble, produce and distribute training materials
Draft and distribute program communications, including maintaining and updating training email lists
Review and extract attendance reports and record attendance in Learning Management System
Provide on-site support for training programs in NY to ensure proper set-up and that the event runs smoothly
Distribute course evaluations and compile results
Assist with procedures for CLE-eligible programs, including maintaining CLE files and databases and uploading information into CLE library.
Have knowledge of NY, CA and TX CLE rules and support CLE administration for programs
Stay abreast of CLE regulations and CLE requirements in the various jurisdictions in which STB attorneys are licensed
Complete, organize and maintain CLE applications and course materials for client training programs
Support additional initiatives and programs that promote attorney development, including helping to maintain training-related intranet pages
Recommend process improvements to ensure controls and department efficiency
Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with a strong work ethic
Exceptional organizational and planning skills, time management skills, written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, precision, and follow-up
Able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and manage deadlines
High proficiency with all MS Office Suite products, including Excel
Ability to learn and implement new technology and systems quickly
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a team
Provide outstanding client service and is proactive in helping others
Ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion and exercise sound judgment
2+ years of experience in a law firm or other fast-paced professional services organization
Familiarity or experience with CLE rules and requirements preferred
Familiarity or experience with relevant CLE compliance software preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of training and development experience required
Bachelor's degree with a focus on adult learning
The estimated base salary range for this position is $70k to $88k at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
