Job Title: Business Analyst - IT Applications

The Business Analyst will be responsible for the elicitation, analysis and documentation of business and technical needs across multiple business units within the Firm. This individual will have proven ability to communicate technical and business requirements alike and possess exceptional communication skills.
Gather, analyze and prioritize requests by collaborating with business units, development teams, and other stakeholders
Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions
Conduct stakeholder interviews, user interviews, focus group studies and workshops to elicit end-user requirements. Documents requirements through user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, etc.
Checks that complex requirements are executable, testable, complete and not ambiguous
Participates in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
Prior experience with Agile methodology
Must be able to communicate to all levels in an organization, strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, flexible, proactive and willing to take ownership
Experience in the following tools & technologies would be advantageous, Storymaps, Business Model Canvas, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Microsoft Office, JIRA.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing
Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently
Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor; ability to work effectively with all levels of Firm personnel and vendors
7+ years of business analysis experience
Experience on a variety of simple to complex projects
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
The estimated base salary range for this position is $155k to $185k at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
