Description/Job Summary

The DMS Specialist works with the Manager of Document Intelligence, the Firm’s product manager for Document Management solutions, including the iManage suite of products and is responsible for supporting efforts to advance the  roadmap for adoption and optimal utilization of document management solutions.
The position requires familiarity with Document Management System (DMS) concepts, strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, attention to detail, creativity, and experience engaging with lawyers and other law firm staff.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Provide administrative oversight and logistical support to ensure success of strategies, projects, activities and programs
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to improve and enhance the iManage PowerBI metrics dashboard
  • Analyze and prepare monthly iManage usage reports to identify instances of non-compliance
  • Track and report on Practice Group standing meetings and liaise with KMLs to identify, prioritize and assist with coordinating onsite and remote engagement opportunities
  • Engage with lawyers and non-legal members of the Firm to gather project requirements and define goals
  • Engage with legal and non-legal members of the Firm to promote iManage adoption and champion the product
  • Manage new Firm Administrative Workspace requests by defining the security model, building out the structure and assisting with required data migrations to ensure consistency and a one-to-on relationship between Workspaces and administrative departments
  • Support the implementation of new version upgrades and feature enhancements in collaboration with IT, including:
    • Testing new features, integrations, and current state regression testing
    • Issue reporting and tracking
    • Assisting with the development of iManage related presentations and communications
    • Assisting with iManage related video production and product documentation
  • Liaise with IT on project deliverables, change requests and enhancement requests
  • In collaboration with IT, track and report on Service Desk calls related to iManage and identify trends that can be actioned
  • Support other Knowledge related projects that require iManage integrations

Salary Information

The estimated base salary range for this position is $75k to $90k at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
