Description/Job Summary

The Exchange Administrator is responsible for supporting Exchange servers and  associated applications. Maintain and upgrade all messaging systems regularly and review configurations to ensure optimal performance. Liaise with Service Desk to provide Level 2\3 support. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in STB’s journey to the cloud.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems with messaging systems and clients, including escalated service desk tickets
  • Upgrade and maintain Exchange servers and related applications
  • Assist with development of strategy to migrate mailboxes to the cloud
  • Administer the Exchange Hybrid Infrastructure
  • Migrate mailboxes to O365 and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop\utilise scripts to automate repetitive tasks
  • Manage mobile device security and application provisioning
  • Monitor system performance
  • Perform administrative functions such as creating shared mailboxes and managing group memberships
  • Assist the litigation team with specific litigation requests
  • Work with all technology teams on meeting their project goals, when required
  • Maintain and manage SMTP gateways
  • Update documentation and develop KB documentation for the Service Desk
  • Enforce policies and follow best practices relating to email retention and security
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • At least 4 to 6 years of relevant experience required
  • Install and administer Exchange 2019, Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid topologies.
  • Experience with advanced Exchange features
  • Automation
  • Experience installing and configuring Cisco ESA’s and SMA’s
  • Familiarity with MDM’s, specifically MobileIron and Intune, install and administer Core and Sentries, install apps, modify policies and configurations
  • Knowledge configuring iOS \Android devices
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player and independently
  • Apply discretion when performing confidential and sensitive tasks
  • Able to plan, organize and manage time efficiently with minimal supervision while working under pressure and against tight deadlines

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience working in a law firm environment is preferred

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Salary Information

The estimated base salary range for this position is $125k to $145k at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
