The Knowledge Delivery Specialist will work with Knowledge Department leadership to raise awareness and increase adoption of Knowledge Department initiatives and solutions. The Specialist will ensure that each initiative and solution is supported by clear, consistent and timely communications for successful onboarding, roll-out, adoption and maintenance.
In collaboration with the Intranet & Knowledge Delivery Manager, the Knowledge Delivery Specialist will support the implementation and ongoing evolution of the Firm’s new intranet. The Specialist will provide mentoring, training and advisory guidance to content managers and content contributors as they create engaging content and communications for the intranet.
Responsibilities/Duties
Ensure a consistent message and voice in all Knowledge Department communications
Prepare and review annual reports, department presentations and other department messaging; periodic newsletters, solution spotlights, questionnaires and polls, training materials, solution videos and other adoption campaign materials
Suggest content, both written and multimedia, that can help with engagement efforts
Create usage reports for solutions, that support department communications
Help the Knowledge Department build a robust presence on the intranet, ensuring that the Knowledge Department is a model for others
Work with Intranet content owners to create engaging content the Intranet
Suggest opportunities to use the Intranet to support Knowledge and Firm initiatives
Organize and support department events in line with awareness, champion and solution adoption programs
Develop, organize and maintain Knowledge Department templates, including, email templates and MS Office master templates
Maintain the Knowledge Department communications calendar to ensure department and solution communications are delivered in a timely and systematic manner
Triage feedback regarding Knowledge Department tools and services
Work on ad hoc and special projects requested by Knowledge Department Leadership
Required Skills
2-5 years of relevant experience
Aptitude and interest in communications and legal technologies and how they can help lawyers work more effectively and efficiently
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with both attorneys and non-attorney professionals at the firm
Strong listening skills, ability to absorb information and translate it into persuasive, relevant, benefit-oriented messaging
Strong project management skills and ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and strong attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Basic graphic design capabilities and familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Snagit
Familiarity with audio/video tools such as Camtasia, Vimeo
Familiarity with project management tools including Asana, Microsoft Project, etc.
Experience with collaboration applications such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, etc.
Proven analytical capabilities
Sound judgment with respect to confidential and sensitive information

Salary Information
The estimated base salary range for this position is $75k to $90k at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
