Description/Job Summary

The HR Recruiting Assistant is responsible for assisting the HR Recruitment team with all professional staff efforts for the Firm.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Schedule candidates for in-person and virtual interviews; distribute interview confirmations
  • Manage internal and external job postings insuring all vacancies are accompanied by an approved requisition
  • Actively review applicants resumes and source candidates on LinkedIn, using Boolean searches
  • Maintain recruiting database (BalanceTrak, Excel), including initial input of prospects and resumes
  • Maintain existing sourcing resources and implement new strategies to build a pipeline of available candidates in anticipation of hiring needs
  • Prepare offer letters and onboarding paperwork
  • Maintain communication with managers and candidates throughout the entire recruiting process
  • Provide the HR team with regular progress reports of positions filled and current vacancies
  • Consistently focus recruiting efforts to meet diversity goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Web applications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Can organize, prioritize, plan and multi-task work activities in a high pressure environment
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

Required Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of corporate experience required

Preferred Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in HR and/or recruiting and hiring exempt and non-exempt positions in disciplines such as IT, finance/accounting, office services, and/or secretarial preferred
  • Familiarity with HR concepts and practices related to identifying, attracting and selecting candidates preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing candidates via internet, networking, employee referrals and job postings preferred

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree required

Salary Information

NY only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $55k to $65k at the time of posting.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is non-exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
